TSA Secure Flight Program USA Travel

To enhance the security of commercial air travel and expedite your travel experience, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) developed Secure Flight, a program that compares airline passenger information against U.S. government watch lists. This program is mandatory for all U.S. airlines and all trips to/from/via/within USA.

As part of this program, all travelers are required to provide the below information as it appears on their passport when booking a flight within, into, out of or via the United States.

If you do not provide this information prior to 72 hours before your scheduled departure, your flight reservation may be cancelled or transportation may be refused.

Required Information:

  • Full Name inc First, Middle and Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Redress Number (if applicable)*

 * Secure Flight uses a Redress process to prevent misidentifications for passengers who may have a name that is similar to an individual on the watch list. Passengers who believe they have been mistakenly matched to a name on the watch list are invited to apply for Redress through DHS TRIP. You can get more information on the redress process at www.dhs.gov/trip.
